Cultures of Nature and Wellbeing is a two year AHRC-funded project running for 24 months between November 2016 and 2018. It brings literary research into dialogue with medical and environmental perspectives on nature-wellbeing relations. By offering unique cultural and historical insights, it aims to add new layers of understanding to current research linking nature and wellbeing, and to demonstrate the dynamic and influential role that arts and humanities research can play in public life.

The project will involve:

Three Nature and Wellbeing Forums held in Bristol, Bath and Edinburgh

Creation of a Nature and Wellbeing Library

Collaborative work with The Wildlife Trusts
